The case studies below focus on the following themes:

Programmes

eLanguages

eLanguages is an online programme in which teachers from different schools can share ideas on teaching methods, share resources and learn more about different countries cultures. Each person creates a personal profile known as the ‘Hello page’ as well as a ‘project homepage’, where teachers can write about ideas/projects that they wish to discuss.

eLanguages offers support in finding online partner schools, ICT advice and guidance to develop project ideas. The resource is free and offers the opportunity to easily create an international dimension to schools.

World Links & Partnerships

This programme is open to schools with the opportunity to develop bilateral links with a school from China, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Portugal or Spain among others. The programme allows students and schools to take part in unique educational projects together, often with a language focus and this can result in an international feel developing in schools. The programme offers opportunities for both teachers and students.

Grants for project management, international travel and accommodation are available and applications are completed via the website.
